El Gordo Riga Summer tango marathon 2025, July 17-21

As always in Riga, you will meet us – the same crazy organizers Olga, Diana, Audrius.

And also, this time we will have for you:

– more than 40 hours (6 milongas, preparty and afterparty) of dancing from July 17 to 21, 2025,

– friendly dancing and living environment,

– role-balanced event,

– 250 participants,

– over 400 sq. m. hall with wooden dance floor cover and quality sound,

– useful and nice souvenirs,

– snacks, fruits, tea, and water during all milongas,

– marathon pass = 130 EUR,

– living, dancing, eating at the same venue – 4* Bellevue Park Hotel Riga: Slokas iela 1, Rīga, https://hotelbellevue.lv/

– free sauna from Friday to Sunday (if you stay at the Bellevue Park Hotel Riga).

• Registration is possible only by registering on our web page (https://argtango.eu/). Clicking “I am going” on Facebook will not be considered as registration.
• We kindly ask you – do not book flights before you receive the final confirmation of participation.
• At the marathon we emphasize the traditional social tango etiquette, dance by following the ronda flow, invitations by mirada and cabeceo and clear floor during cortinas.
• This marathon is an event without separate seating for men and women.
• Our tango community understands and values the ‘consent culture’. This means that we act and dance respecting each other’s boundaries.
• The pre-party and after-party will be open for both marathon participants and other dancers. Pre-party and after-party are not included in the full-pass.
• As usual, we recommend you stay in the Bellevue Park Hotel Riga (Slokas iela 1, Rīga, https://hotelbellevue.lv/); here you can enjoy the party in full – with the opportunity to live and to dance at the same venue.
