What awaits you? (English Version “what can you expect” below)

Concept:
We would like to invite you to an event that is intended for those who are interested in tango dancing and want to find an authentic tango for themselves. /Inspired by the original Practicas of Buenos Aires, where all levels interacted together and directions, styles and movements emerged. We have developed a dynamic concept for this that consists of a maximum of 90 places.
Workshops and exercises with top teachers to whom we have assigned a keyword for the teaching units.

Event Dynamics:
El Pasito – Immersion is an event rich in information and promoting exchange.
Starting from the depths of the essence of dance, the teachers reveal their secrets and fundamentals to us.

Each pair of teachers offers what they believe is the essence of tango dance. In this edition the key word will be CONNECTION.
Each pair of teachers will also work on what they believe is fundamental and characteristic of their style.

At the end of the workshops, we will all enjoy an aperitif together, which is not only about pleasing the palate, but also about getting to know each other and exchanging ideas.

Then in the evening from 10 p.m. there is the guided practica (“El Pasito”) by the hosts, where we dedicate ourselves to the game of combining elements and structures of tango; Applying and remembering the concepts learned in the afternoon.

In summary, this weekend we would like
to take you on a journey full of tango sensations and the wonder of further exploring the good feeling of tango.

Workshop dynamics:
3 hours per day, one pair of teachers per day.

Class times: 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (break) 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m

Three workshops in parallel, with a pair of teachers in each group.
This is how groups A, B and C are formed. (Groups of a maximum of 15 or 17 couples, also divided according to dance level)
In these groups the teachers take turns every day, which means that each group has one workshop per day in which she works on the same concept and so at the end of the weekend she has three different perspectives on the same idea.

The workshops are divided as follows:
– 1.30 hours for Connection
– Break: 30′
– 1.30: Dedicated to the specific themes of each couple (keyword)
Ariadna and Fernando: structure
Carolina and Octavio: weight
Indira and Rodrigo: flow of movements

Dynamics of the Practica – EL PASITO:
At the beginning of the Practica we will propose a “small step” linked to the afternoon workshops.

Tombola: We randomly select two pieces of paper, each with a tango movement depicted on it. (At the beginning of the Practica, each person writes on a piece of paper a small step that they would like to work on.)
At the end of the game comes our traditional toast… We prepare the senses for the artistic intervention. And then just dance.

What can you expect?

We want to invite you to an event that is designed for those who want to deeply study tango dancing and, themselves, be able to find an authentic tango, inspired by the original Practicas of Buenos Aires, where all levels interacted and where born currents, styles and movements. Therefore we have designed a work dynamic that consists of a maximum of 90 places.
Workshop and Practicas with high-level teachers, to whom we have assigned a keyword.

Dynamics of the Event:
El Pasito Immersion is an event rich in information and promoting sharing. Starting from the depths of the essence of dance, the teachers will reveal to us its secrets and its fundamental keys. Each pair of teachers will offer what they believe to be the essence of Tango dancing. In this edition the keyword will be CONNECTION.
At the end of the workshop, we will all share an aperitif together where the idea, in addition to delighting the palate, will be to get to know each other and share.

Then at night from 10pm the Practica Guiada will follow (“El pasito”) by the host teachers, where we will dedicate ourselves to the game of combining elements and structures of tango; using and recording the concepts studied during the afternoon.

In summary, with this weekend, we propose:

These groups will rotate teachers each day, meaning that each group will have one workshop per day, working on the same concept, thus taking three different perspectives on the same idea at the end of the weekend.

– 1.30 am: Dedicated to the specific topics of each couple ( Keyword )

Dynamics of Practica- El PASITO:
At the beginning of the practice we will propose a “little step”, connected to the afternoon workshops.

Tombola: Through chance we will choose two papers that will contain one tango movement each. (each person at the beginning of the practice will write on a piece of paper, a small step that they would like to work on).
At the end of the game comes our traditional toast… Preparing the senses for the artistic intervention. And then just dance.
